چکیده
Coffee seedlings are commonly produced on substrate composed of a mixture soil and cattle manure, supplemented with chemical fertilizers. Alternatives to reduce production costs produce greater quality health include the use commercial organic substrates, which require less handling. The beneficial microorganisms such as arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) can be considered good alternative for more vigorous coffee seedlings. main goal this study was evaluate effect inoculation AMF isolates development in (based coconut fiber) conventional (mixture manure compost). Ten were tested: Rhizophagus irregularis, Glomus macrocarpum, Claroideoglomus etunicatum, clarus, spp., Gigaspora margarita, Acaulospora morrowiae, scrobiculata, Dentiscutata heterogamma. Plant growth, shoot P content, colonization, extraradical mycelium length, phosphatase activity, photosynthetic pigments evaluated. effects mycorrhization depended both inoculated fungal species seedling cultivation. Inoculation G. spp. conferred best growth plant responses, increasing biomass by 160 320%. In substrate, most efficient R. spp, A. morrowiae up 149% increase. some highly replace substrate. These results open new opportunities an inoculant improve substrates.

Enhancement of clover growth by inoculation of P-solubilizing fungi and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.
This study evaluated the synergism between several P-solubilizing fungi isolates and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi to improve clover ( Trifolium pratense) growth in the presence of Araxá apatite. Clover was sown directly in plastic pots with 300g of sterilized washed sand, vermiculite and sepiolite 1:1:1 (v:v:v) as substrate, and grown in a controlled environment chamber. The substrate was ferti...

Revegetation strategies, either for reclamation or for rehabilitation, are being used to recover desertified ecosystems. Woody legumes are recognized as species that are useful for revegetation of water-deficient, low-nutrient environments because of their ability to form symbiotic associations with rhizobial bacteria and mycorrhizal fungi, which improve nutrient acquisition and help plants to ...
متن کاملCombined Inoculation with Multiple Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi Improves Growth, Nutrient Uptake and Photosynthesis in Cucumber Seedlings
Mycorrhizal inoculation stimulates growth, photosynthesis and nutrient uptake in a wide range of host plants. However, the ultimate effects of arbuscular mycorrhyzal (AM) symbiosis vary with the plants and fungal species involved in the association. Therefore, identification of the appropriate combinations of AM fungi (AMF) that interact synergistically to improve their benefits is of high sign...
متن کاملResponses of Guava Plants to Inoculation with Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi in Soil Infested with Meloidogyne enterolobii
In the Northeast of Brazil, expansion of guava crops has been impaired by Meloidogyne enterolobii that causes root galls, leaf fall and plant death. Considering the fact that arbuscular mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) improve plant growth giving protection against damages by plant pathogens, this work was carried out to select AMF efficient to increase production of guava seedlings and their tolerance ...
متن کاملGrowth model for arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi
In order to quantify the contribution of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi to plant phosphorus nutrition, the development and extent of the external fungal mycelium and its nutrient uptake capacity are of particular importance. We develop and analyse a model of the growth of AM fungi associated with plant roots, suitable for describing mechanistically the effects of the fungi on solute uptake b...
